Human in the loop for every MCP tool call.

My agent can call dozens of tools. A few of them I want to see before they run, every time.

Connect the MCP server to Kin and set those tools to Ask me. When an AI app calls one, the call waits. You see the app, the account, the action and the exact details, with the app's reason when it gives one, then approve or deny.

Steps checked in Kin on .

Free for 5 connections and 2 AI apps. No card needed.

Set it up

  1. Connect the server

From Kin's catalog or by its address. Connect an MCP server

  2. Set tools to Ask me

Open the connection. Under Rules, choose Ask me on each tool that should wait for you. Reads can ask too, not only changes.

  3. Add Kin to your AI app

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any app that takes a remote MCP server. Add Kin to your AI apps

  4. Answer where you are

Requests wait on Home in Kin on the web. Kin on iPhone and Apple Watch (TestFlight beta) and Kin for Android show them too. Kin on your phone

What you see before it runs.

  • Which AI app is asking, and on which account.
  • The action, and the app's reason when it gives one.
  • The exact details it will send, under Details.
  • How long the app will keep waiting.

Approve once. Or say no, with a note.

Approving runs that request once, exactly as shown, and the waiting call gets the result. If the app asks again with the same request, it gets the same outcome, and nothing runs twice.

Deny stops it, and the app is told you said no. Add a note, like "search the catalog instead", and the app gets your words with the answer. Approvals and questions

The call waits. You set how long.

Kin waits 60 seconds by default, and you can change it in Settings, from no wait up to 2 minutes. Some apps stop sooner: ChatGPT and Cursor at 45 seconds. If time runs out, you can still approve later, and the app collects the result the next time it checks. Nothing is approved because time ran out. How long the app waits

Do I have to change my agent's code?

No. Kin is an MCP server, so the app calls it like any other. The wait and the answer happen inside the normal tool call.

Can approval be per app?

Yes. When you approve, you can also save an always-allow rule for just that app, and the others keep asking.

Is there a record?

Yes. Activity shows every request and how it ended: allowed, approved, denied or waiting. An audit log of every call

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Approvals are on every plan, Free included. Compare plans
