Guides. One job each.
Each guide answers one question, with the steps in Kin.
- Approve Claude Code actions from your phone Put Claude Code's changes to your accounts behind Ask me. Kin sends each one to your phone, and it runs only after you approve that exact request.
- Give ChatGPT your GitHub without giving it everything Connect GitHub to Kin once and let ChatGPT use it. Choose which actions it may take, which wait for you, and which it never sees.
- One MCP server for every AI app Add one address to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Gemini and Grok. Your connected accounts, rules and activity come with it to every app.
- Stop an AI agent from sending email without asking With Kin, an AI agent asks before it sends an email or posts a message. You see the recipient and the text first, then approve or deny.
- Switch from Claude Code to Codex mid-task When Claude Code hits its usage limit, Kin hands the task to Codex on the same branch, with its notes and next step. Part of Kin Pro.
- Use two GitHub accounts in Claude and Claude Code Connect a work and a personal GitHub account to Kin, each with its own rules. Claude and Claude Code use both and ask which one when it matters.
- Connect two Notion workspaces to Claude Sign in to Notion twice in Kin, once per workspace, and Claude reaches both through Kin, each workspace under its own rules.
- Give Codex read-only access to GitHub Connect GitHub to Kin, set it to Read only, and add Kin to Codex with Can only read. Codex reads issues, pull requests and code. Every change is blocked.
- Make any MCP server read-only Connect an MCP server to Kin and choose Read only. Every AI app can read through it, and every change is blocked on Kin's server.
- Require approval for MCP tool calls Set any MCP tool to Ask me in Kin. The AI app's call waits while you read what it wants to do, then runs once if you approve.
- Approve Cursor's MCP tool calls one request at a time Add Kin to Cursor and set the tools that matter to Ask me. Each call waits for you in Kin, however Cursor is set up.
- Approve Codex MCP tool calls from your phone Put Codex's MCP actions behind Ask me in Kin. You see the exact request on the web, your phone or your Apple Watch, and it runs once if you approve.
- Allow, ask or block each MCP tool Kin gives every tool on every MCP server its own rule, Allow, Ask me or Block, checked on Kin's server and kept in every AI app.
- MCP permissions for Claude Code that hold in every app Set Allow, Ask me or Block for each MCP action in Kin. Claude Code follows them, and so do Claude, Codex, Cursor and ChatGPT, without a settings file in each.
- Keep work and personal accounts apart in Claude Put each set of accounts in a Kin profile. An AI app added with a profile's address reaches only that profile's accounts.
- A kill switch for your AI agents Pause in Kin stops every AI app at once: every change waits for you, or nothing runs at all, for as long as you choose.
- An audit log of every MCP tool call Kin's Activity records each call every AI app makes through Kin: the app, the account, the action and how your rules answered. Filter it and download it.
- Add an MCP server that needs an API key to Claude Paste the server's address and its key into Kin once. Claude, ChatGPT and other apps sign in to Kin, and the key stays in Kin.
- Use two GitHub accounts in Codex Connect a work and a personal GitHub account to Kin, each with its own rules, and add Kin to Codex. Codex uses the account you name and asks when it can't tell.
- Use two GitHub accounts in Cursor Add Kin to Cursor's mcp.json once. Your work and personal GitHub accounts each connect to Kin with their own rules, and Cursor's agent uses the one you name.
- Connect two Linear workspaces to Claude, Codex and Cursor Sign in to Linear twice in Kin, once per workspace. Claude, Codex and Cursor reach both through Kin, ask which one when it matters, and ask you before saving anything.
- Sign Codex in to an MCP server with codex mcp login Add Kin to Codex and run codex mcp login once, with or without a browser on that computer. That one sign-in reaches every service you connect in Kin.
- Install Kin as a Claude Code plugin, Codex plugin or Gemini CLI extension Install Kin from its public plugin repository in Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI. It adds Kin's address and two skills, holds no key, and signs in through Kin.
- A Composio alternative for the AI apps you already use Kin connects your own accounts to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor, two of one service if you like, with Allow, Ask me or Block set on a screen. What each does, from their own docs.
- A Zapier MCP alternative with rules for each AI app Kin gives every AI app one address, but each app gets its own access: Claude Code can ask to merge while Codex only reads. What Zapier MCP does, from its own docs.
