Work stays work. Personal stays personal.

I use Claude for my job and for my own projects. My job's Claude should never touch my personal accounts.

In Kin, make a profile for work and one for personal, and put each account in one. Each profile has its own MCP address. Add Claude with the work address, and it reaches only work accounts.

Set it up

  1. Connect your accounts

Work and personal, all in one Kin. Two of the same service is fine. Several accounts on one service

  2. Make a profile for each

In Kin, open Access, then Who can reach what, and choose New profile. Name it Work and tick the work accounts. Do the same for Personal.

  3. Copy the profile's address

Choose Edit on the profile, then Copy address under Profile address. It ends in the profile's name, for example /mcp/p/work. How profiles work

  4. Add Claude with that address

Use it in place of Kin's main address when you add the connector. Or limit an app you already added, from the same Edit screen. Claude setup

Only that profile. Nothing crosses over.

An app added with the Work address finds only Work accounts. Ask it about a personal account and Kin has nothing to offer from there.

One profile per client.

Consultants use the same setup for clients: a profile each, so one client's Claude never reaches another client's accounts.

Can an account be in two profiles?

Yes. A shared tool, like a docs server, can sit in every profile.

Do rules change per profile?

Rules belong to each connection, so an account keeps its rules in every profile it is in.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Profiles are on every plan. Compare plans
