Approve Claude Code actions from your phone.

Claude Code wants to merge a pull request. I'm away from my desk. My phone shows me exactly what it will do, and I tap Approve.

Set it up

  1. Add Kin to Claude Code

    Run this in a terminal, then sign in with claude mcp login kin. Claude Code setup

  2. Connect your accounts

    Connect GitHub, Linear, Stripe or any other account in Kin. A new connection lets AI apps read, and asks you before every change. Connect something

  3. Choose what waits for you

    Each action is Allow, Ask me or Block. Leave merges, deploys and anything else that matters on Ask me. How rules work

  4. Get Kin on your phone

    Kin on iPhone, with the Apple Watch companion, is in beta on TestFlight. Kin for Android is on Google Play. Any phone can also approve in Kin on the web. Kin on your phone

Read it first. Then decide.

Your phone shows which AI app is asking, the account, the action and the exact details, such as the repository, the title or the text.

Approve runs that request once, exactly as shown. Deny stops it, and Claude Code is told you said no. Add a note, like "use the staging branch", and Claude Code gets it with your answer. Approvals and questions

Claude Code waits. You choose how long.

Claude Code's call waits for your answer, 60 seconds by default. Change it in Settings, from no wait up to 2 minutes. If time runs out, you can still approve for up to an hour by default, and Claude Code collects the result the next time it checks with Kin. Nothing is ever approved because time ran out. Does this cover commands Claude Code runs on my computer?

Can I approve from my Apple Watch?

Yes. Kin on iPhone comes with an Apple Watch companion, both in the TestFlight beta. The Watch shows the request with Approve and Deny. Get the beta

What if I miss the notification?

The request waits on Home in Kin, on the web and in the app. Activity shows how every request ended.
