In Claude Code, allow the
kinserver's tools as you would any MCP server. Kin's rules decide what each call may do.
We asked Claude Code to break a rule.
With a work GitHub account on Read only, we asked Claude Code to list issues, then to comment on one. The list came back. For the comment, Kin had no allowed action to offer, so Claude Code reported that nothing was posted.
Claude Code's settings still matter.
Claude Code's own allow and deny rules cover the tools it uses, including commands and file edits on your computer (Claude Code permissions, read October 31, 2026). Kin decides what each call through Kin may do in your accounts. Use both: let Claude Code call Kin, and keep the account rules in Kin.

Does Claude Code see every tool from every server?
No. It sees Kin's five tools and searches for actions. Blocked actions never show up.
