An MCP gateway for your own AI apps.

I use four AI apps and a dozen accounts. I want one place where the accounts live and one set of rules every app follows.

Kin sits between your AI apps and your accounts. Each app adds one address, https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp, and signs in. Kin holds the sign-ins, checks your Allow, Ask me or Block rule on every call, and keeps a record.

Steps checked in Kin on .

Free for 5 connections and 2 AI apps. No card needed.

Set it up

  1. Connect your accounts once

Pick services from Kin's catalog, or connect a remote MCP server by its address. Browse services

  2. Set your rules

A level for each account, and Allow, Ask me or Block for any single action. Allow, ask or block each tool

  3. Add the address to each AI app

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and any app that takes a remote MCP server. Each signs in to Kin with OAuth, and you choose what it may use. Steps for each app

    https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp

What the gateway does on each call.

  • Finds the action among everything you connected, and offers only what your rules allow.
  • Checks the rule on Kin's server, so it holds whatever the app is told.
  • Holds an Ask me call until you answer on the web, your phone or your Apple Watch.
  • Sends the call with the sign-in it keeps, so no AI app holds your keys.
  • Writes the call to Activity: the app, the account, the action and the outcome.

The same rules in every app.

We signed Claude Code and Cursor in to the same Kin. Both found the same GitHub and Microsoft Learn actions. One Block on Merge pull request removed it from both. Removing Cursor ended its access at once, and Claude Code kept working.

More than a proxy.

  • Two accounts of one service, each with its own rules. Two GitHub accounts
  • Profiles, so one app reaches only one set of accounts. Work and personal apart
  • Pause, to stop every app at once. A kill switch
  • On Pro: your computer behind the same address, any API from its OpenAPI document, and work that moves when an agent hits its limit. Compare plans
What is the difference between an MCP gateway and an MCP server?

An MCP server offers tools from one service. A gateway sits in front of many servers: your AI app connects to the gateway once, and the gateway decides which calls reach which server. Kin is a gateway that also keeps the sign-ins and your rules.

Is an MCP proxy the same thing?

A proxy passes calls through. Kin also decides: it hides blocked actions, holds Ask me calls for you, and records every call.

Who is Kin for?

People who use several AI apps with their own accounts, and small teams. Kin is hosted, so there is nothing to deploy.

Can I host it myself?

Not today. Kin runs as a hosted service.

How does it compare with Zapier MCP, Composio and built-in connectors?

See the comparison, with the date each fact was checked.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Rules, approvals, profiles, Pause and Activity are on every plan, Free included. Compare plans
