Add Kin to your AI apps

Add Kin to Antigravity

Google's agent editor and its CLI. Give Antigravity one address, sign in to Kin, and it can use the accounts you connect, under your rules.

Before you start

  • Create a Kin account at app.kinlab.ai and connect at least one account. See Get started.
  • Kin's address for every AI app is https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp. A profile has its own address, shown on the profile. See Profiles.
  • Signing in is the recommended way. Use a token only when the app cannot sign in. You create one in Kin under AI apps, with Connect an AI app and then Paste a token (advanced), and Kin shows it once.

Sign in

  1. For Antigravity CLI, add Kin in a terminal:

    agy mcp add kin https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp
  2. Start agy and type /mcp. Select kin, press Enter to open its actions, choose Authenticate, and press Enter. Adding the server or choosing Restart alone does not sign you in.

  3. In the browser, check which Kin account is signed in, choose what Antigravity may use, then approve. Copy the authorization code from the next page.

  4. Return to Antigravity CLI, paste the authorization code into its prompt, and press Enter. Wait for "Authentication successful!", then press Enter to return to the MCP panel.

  5. Check that kin shows Authed and its tools. Ask Antigravity to search for an action in a connection you allowed, to confirm that it can use Kin.

  6. For the Antigravity editor, add this entry beside any other servers in its MCP configuration:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "kin": {
          "serverUrl": "https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  7. In the editor, open Agent settings, go to Customizations, and select Authenticate next to kin. Approve in the browser, then copy the authorization code back into the settings panel and select Submit.

  • Auth Needed or Unauthorized before signing in means the server still needs authentication. After approving in the browser, finish by pasting the authorization code into Antigravity.
  • If authentication still fails after the code is accepted, check your Antigravity version and the signed-in Kin account. The CLI and editor keep separate sign-in state.

Use a token instead

Replace YOUR_TOKEN with the token you created in Kin under AI apps. See Sign in, or use a token.

  1. Open ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, creating it if needed.

  2. Add Kin under mcpServers:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "kin": {
          "serverUrl": "https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp",
          "headers": {
            "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
          }
        }
      }
    }
  3. With the Antigravity CLI you can add it with a command instead:

    agy mcp add --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" kin https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp

Good to know

  • If the file already lists other servers, add the kin entry beside them.

After you connect

Ask the app to do something with an account you connected, such as "list my open Linear issues". The app searches Kin for a matching action and runs it if your rule allows it. An action set to Ask me waits for you. See Approvals and questions.

To change what this app may use, open AI apps in Kin. See What each AI app may use.

How we checked this guide

We ran these steps with Antigravity CLI 1.4.2 on October 18, 2026: browser sign-in, the authorization code, and a search from a new CLI process. The editor steps follow Google's documentation and were not run.
