AI apps
Add Kin to Raycast
Raycast AI on your desktop.
Before you start
- Raycast marks MCP servers as a Pro feature.
- Create a Kin account and connect an account.
In Raycast, search for the Install MCP Server command and open it.
Name the server
kin. Choose HTTP as the Transport and paste this as the URL:https://app.kinlab.ai/mcpSet OAuth Type to Dynamic and leave HTTP Headers empty. Then select Install MCP Server.
Raycast asks you to sign in before the tools are available. Select Sign In.
A Kin window opens in your browser. Kin cannot check who Raycast is, so it starts read only. Check the connections ticked for it, choose Can read and change if it should make changes, then approve.
In AI Chat or Quick AI, type @ and choose
kin.
After you connect
Ask the app to do something with an account you connected, such as "list my open Linear issues". The app searches Kin for a matching action and runs it if your rule allows it. An action set to Ask me waits for you. See Approvals and questions.
To change what this app may use, open AI apps in Kin. See What each AI app may use.
Use a profile's address
Kin's address for every AI app is https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp. A profile has its own address, shown on the profile. See Profiles.
Use a token instead
Use a token only when the app cannot sign in. Create one in Kin under AI apps, with Connect an AI app and then Paste a token (advanced). Kin shows it once. Replace YOUR_TOKEN with it. See Sign in, or use a token.
In Raycast, open Install MCP Server. Name it
kin, choose HTTP and paste the address as the URL.Under HTTP Headers, add
Authorizationwith the valueBearer YOUR_TOKEN, then select Install MCP Server.
Good to know
- Manage MCP Servers shows
kinas Running once it is connected. Its Logout action signs Raycast out of Kin and keeps the server. - Raycast asks you before it runs a tool that can change something, and your Kin rules still apply.
How we checked this guide
These steps follow Raycast Manual as of October 31, 2026. We have not run every step.
Raycast was not run here. Its manual says Dynamic sign-in registers Raycast with the server, which Kin supports.
