Add Kin to your AI apps
Add Kin to Grok
grok.com on the web. Give Grok one address, sign in to Kin, and it can use the accounts you connect, under your rules.
Before you start
- Create a Kin account at app.kinlab.ai and connect at least one account. See Get started.
- Kin's address for every AI app is
https://app.kinlab.ai/mcp. A profile has its own address, shown on the profile. See Profiles.
Steps
In a browser, go to grok.com/connectors.
Select New Connector, then Custom.
Paste this as the MCP server URL:
https://app.kinlab.ai/mcpComplete the sign-in Grok asks for. When a Kin window opens, choose what Grok may use, then approve.
Good to know
- Grok's documentation says connectors are available to all Grok users.
- On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin adds the connector first in the cloud console.
After you connect
Ask the app to do something with an account you connected, such as "list my open Linear issues". The app searches Kin for a matching action and runs it if your rule allows it. An action set to Ask me waits for you. See Approvals and questions.
To change what this app may use, open AI apps in Kin. See What each AI app may use.
How we checked this guide
These steps follow Grok documentation as of October 13, 2026. We have not run every step.
Grok's documentation does not describe how a custom connector signs in, so that step is described generally.
Source: Grok documentation. These apps change their setup screens often, so check there if a step looks different.
